School Networks on EGC

On the following sites you will find school networks: teachers sharing ideas and materials. Most is aimed at British Schools.

This is a community for teachers and students interested in global education. Everybody can contribute by adding media, conversation, and collaborative project ideas. Not very practical but some interesting projects.

A network site (mainly America) on several issues: environment, peace & justice, alternative media, development and human rights. On all issues you can find teaching materials.

This website is a school network on sustainable education and global citizenship. Though meant for English schools you will find useful information.

Information on Schoollinking

Some participants are interested in a Schoollink to work on issues on Global Citizenship. You will find the website of the British Council very helpful.

Free Educational Materials

On the internet you will find many interesting sites with material you can use to adapt yo your own programme and projects. Some good examples are:


1. The Global Education Website is initiated and funded by Australian AID to support its Global Education Program. The strategy of the project is to provide an Internet Site and curriculum material that is of high professional standard, is attractive, teacher friendly; and accessible.

2. Site on Global Dimensions. >This website is a guide to books, films, posters and web resources which support global, intercultural and environmental understanding for all age groups and subjects.

High quality site with all sorts of free educational material for schools.
